KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS
Superior Sealing Performance
Spiral wound construction delivers excellent resilience and recovery, ensuring dependable sealing under thermal cycling and mechanical stress.
High Temperature Resistance
Engineered to maintain sealing integrity across extreme temperature ranges, from cryogenic conditions to high-heat environments.
Chemical Compatibility
Available in multiple material combinations to resist corrosive chemicals, acids, alkalis, and aggressive process media.
Pressure Tolerance
Designed to withstand high internal pressures while maintaining leak-free performance in critical piping and equipment systems.
Versatile Applications
Compatible with a wide range of flange types and configurations, offering flexible sealing solutions across industrial applications.
Long Service Life
Durable construction and premium materials ensure extended operational life, reducing maintenance requirements and downtime.
Construction
Spiral wound gaskets are constructed using a preformed metal winding strip combined with a soft filler material, spirally wound under controlled tension. The metal winding provides mechanical strength and recovery, while the filler material forms the primary sealing surface. Depending on application requirements, gaskets can be supplied with inner and/or outer guide rings to ensure proper centering and prevent inward buckling under high pressure.
